Flight Dispatch and Ground Handling Diploma Course with Job Placement !
The aviation industry in India is rapidly expanding with an immediate demand for qualified Flight Dispatchers and Ground Handlers.

In view of this, we are glad to announce our unique Flight Dispatch and Ground Handling Diploma course with ensured employment.

On course completion you will have an RTR License from Wireless Planning and Co-ordination Wing, Government of India and be able to get a job placement in the Aviation Industry.

This Course is designed in Power Point with helpful visuals to aid learning and will be delivered by an Over Head Projector for the benefits of our students.

Flight Dispatcher Job Description and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for planning and monitoring the progress of a flight journey

2. Dispatcher is legally responsible for the safety of a flight along with the pilot in command

3. Has the authority to delay, divert or cancel a flight

4. Most commercial operations require both the flight dispatcher and pilot in command combined to authorize and release a flight

5. A flight dispatcher is required to demonstrate extensive knowledge of aviation comparable to the Captain of an aircraft holding an Airline Transport Pilot License, which is the highest pilot license achievable.

Ground Handler Job Description and Responsibilities:

1. Cabin Service, Ramp Service, Passenger Service & Field Operation Service.

2. Addresses the many service requirements of a passenger aircraft between the time it arrives at a terminal gate and the time it departs on its next flight (Turnaround Time).

3. Ground handling includes general administration, baggage, freight and mail handling, loading and unloading of aircraft and transport of crew, passengers and baggage, fuel and oil handling and catering services.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

Eligibility requirements to enroll for the course:

You should be able to read, write, understand and speak English fluently.
You should have completed 12th standard or equivalent.
You will need basic knowledge of Mathematics and Physics (10th Standard Level)
You should be a Minimum of 17 years of age to join the course.

What is the duration of the course?

This course is of 12 months duration.

What are the class timings?

The classes are conducted Monday through Friday, normally between the hours of 1 pm and 6 pm. If additional hours are required from time to time this may be conducted between the hours of 9 am and 1 pm. On a normal day, the class duration will be between 3 to 5 hours.

If I need a bank loan for tuition fee, how can I get one?

On enrollment with us, we will give you a letter of admission along with course fee details, most banks will lend you a loan towards the tuition fees based on this document.

What is the minimum require attendance for this course?

A minimum of 80% overall attendance is required for course completion without which you will not be allowed to attend the final examination.

If my attendance falls below 80% what is the procedure to take the examination?

The modules that have less than 80% attendance will have to be repeated and an overall 80% attendance needs to be fulfilled in order to write the final examination.

Will I have to pay additionally to repeat a module?

Yes, an additional payment will have to be made towards re-attendance of module.

What is the pass percentage for the final examination?

All examination in the aviation industry has a pass percentage of 70%. The same standards are applicable to this course.

If I fail in my final examination, do I need to retake the modules to re-appear in the exams?

As long is your overall attendance is above 80% the modules need not be repeated, a payment towards re-examination can be made to retake the examination.

What certifications do I get at the end of this course?

If the course is being finished successfully and passed the final examinations including the RTR License, you will graduate with a Diploma Certificate in FD & GH.

A Provisional Certificate will be issued if the course is complete successfully with the exception of the RTR License to be passed. In this case, a Diploma Certificate will be issued after the RTR license is obtained.

Do I require a calculator for this course?

Yes, you require a scientific calculator and an electronic flight computer for this course. These instruments are not covered in your course price.

Do I need to wear a Uniform?

Yes. The Uniform is White shirt (half sleeves), Navy blue Trousers, black shoes and Black socks. This is mandatory and students will not be allowed to attend classes otherwise. Click on the thumbnail to enlarge view of uniform:


What Certification do I receive on course completion?


On course completion, you will receive a diploma certificate.

What additional expenditure can I expect outside of the course fee?

The examination fees for the Radio Telephony Restricted (Aeronautical) License need to be directly paid to Wireless Planning & Co-ordination Wing, Ministry of Telecommunication, Govt. of India.

What is the employment opportunity for this course?

The FD & GH Diploma has got a wide scope of employment in today’s aviation industry the expansion of airports all over the country is testimony to the industrial expansion and forecast growth. Therefore, the number of jobs created in this field is manifold.

Do I have a job guarantee?

Many institutions wrongly popularize the notion that a job is guaranteed at the end of course completion. In reality the employer is looking for the right candidate with the right skills and caliber who will fit in to the requirements of the positions available. So the employment will be based on your performance in the selection process.

Do you help us for employment?

We have a placement cell that will assist you with your employment for up to your first job or up to 12 months from the date of your graduation.

Who will employ us?

Many aviation companies including airlines have a Flight Operations Department. This will be the department that will employ you if you are seeking employment especially towards a FD. Ground Handling jobs are spread across various departments within the aviation industry and has a wider scope of employment.

What will be my pay scale once I get employed?

Pay scale vary with company, department you get employed in and designation. As a novice in the industry, pay scales at the entry level are always basic. But with time and experience these pay scales get very lucrative. Licensed Flight Dispatcher can earn as much as an Airline Pilot.

Maximum Age limit for Employment?

Normally, companies prefer candidates at an entry level below the age of 35. But if a candidate is exceptional with work experience from other related fields age is not necessarily a criteria.

If I choose to become a FD, how does my career progress?

On completion of Diploma in FD & GH you will be eligible to get employed in the Flight Operations department of an Airline. Once employed, normally, a minimum of 2 years of experience is required before the operator (the company) can recommend you towards a FD License.

What is the minimum age for an operator to recommend us towards a FD License?

After a minimum of 2 years of experience before the operator can recommend you for licensing, you will need to be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Do I Need Mathematics & physics in 12 th standard or equivalent to berecommended for the FD License by the operator?

Yes, you need 12 th standard mathematics & physics or equivalent to be recommended for your FD License. While this is not a requirement to complete your Diploma course with us, it would be prudent for you to appear for 12 th standard Mathematics & Physics or equivalent privately, if you don’t already one.
