  Bachelors Degree in Aviation (BSc. Aviation) For Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

.

Eligibility:

bullet You should be medically fit.
bullet You should be able to read, write, understand and speak English.
bullet Indian DGCA requires you be a 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Maths with an aggregate of 50% or a 3 year Diploma in Engineering.
bullet All Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (AME) Holders are eligible to enroll in this program

Duration:

bullet Ab-initio: For student commencing Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License course, this program is of 6 semesters and can be done along with AME training. In the unlikely event of any arrears in passing the exams, an additional grace period of 4 semesters (Two years) is allowed to complete the course after the sixth semester.
bullet Lateral Entry: For Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License holders, this program is only of 3 semesters. License holders can directly join the fourth semester and complete the degree. In the unlikely event of any arrears in passing the exams, an additional grace period of 3 semesters (One and a half year) is allowed to complete the course after the sixth semester.

Examinations:

bullet Examination for first semester paper will be conducted every 2nd Saturday of March and September.
bullet Examination for second and third semesters paper will be conducted every 2nd Sunday of March and September.
bullet Examination for fourth to sixth semester papers will be conducted between the 3rd and 13th of January and July.

Examination fees:

bullet Fees for initial attempt of the examination for all papers are included in the course price.
bullet Re-examination due to absenteeism, failure to pass or any other reason will be charged additionally.


Contact Classes:

bullet Contact classes are usually conducted one month prior to the date of examination.
bullet Dates of contact classes will be communicated to enrolled students.
